This is weird. Touching the lower left corner of the iPhone 4 consistently drops calls. I’ve been testing this all night and here’s a replication on video. The test was performed four times, but it could have been 40. Whether the palm of the and, should, neck, or any body part results in quickly dropping the call. This does not appear to affect the iPhone 3GS, which was tested with the iPhone 4.

I cant believe it, iphone users getting fooled again. There are really better smartphones out there than the iphones. It’s all in the sales talk and marketing strategy that is why iphones are expensive. Compare first before getting an iphone. We have to admit Samsung smartphones and other smartphone brands are realistically way better in regards of functionality, performance, quality, price and so on. Many iphone users already shifted to other brands and are satisfied.

My iPhone 4 doesn’t drop any calls, it doesn’t even loose the 3G.
BTW. I’m in Helsinki, Finland. We have bit “stronger” 3G-networks than you in the States…
I made the big mistake of purchasing a iPhone 4, thinking it was the next best thing to sliced bread, but I was quickly brought back to reality! Five dropped calls, in the apple store, talking with an apple salesman as he watched it all while shaking his heady! Apple needs to be taken down like the rest of these cellphone crooks, but most Americans will except it for what it is and move on ! We the people are nothing but PUSSIES!

Ok I’m using an iPhone 4 right now and I even tried to get my phone to drop calls by the “death grip” and it wouldn’t drop the call. Idk when I talk on the phone I don’t hold it as my life depended on the phone never slipping from my hand. My phone works great and I couldn’t be happier with it. Definitely worth the $200 I paid

This isn’t really completely a fault in the phone. It’s pertly because of the shit reception that AT&T has. Goto Australia, get an iPhone 4 on an Optus/Vodaphone/Telsra plan and test it again. It doesn’t lose any signal bars. At all.
