Buy a cheap camera. decent lens. and a lot of cheap lighting equipment (asian stuff are pretty good for the price. YN and Phottix ftw!)

Oh, and photoshop cs3 (it’s the most stable and fastest version imo.)

there, you have a decent setup that can take terrific pictures.

This video is deceiving, I am a photographer and of course a good photograph is the result of a good photographer, not a good camera, yet you say that you are going to use the worst camera possible to prove that you can still make good pictures with it, but you are relying 100% on top of the notch lighting equipment so OF COURSE the pictures are going to look great inspite of the shitty camera. Go outside with the iphone, in poor lighting conditions and let’s see if you can do something good.

@LaSerpentaCanta Sounds like you get it, there are no excuses to not go out and make great photos then if you have great lighting and a lesser camera. We are photographers so of course we used the best tools…just a horrible camera.

I almost liked this until Olympus was slammed. Maki photo DOT com is one high commercial N.Y. photog who uses Olympus series of models. Also most people taking pictures don’t have high dollar models and lights to work with. I guess the little money left over was just enough to by the iphone?

I do think it WAS a great I phone commercial though! Hope you were paid well.
