i think in conclusion, most people who are arguing that jpop is better are from japan and those people who are arguing kpop is better are either from korea or american, i live in canada, and all the girls i know listen to mostly kpop artist and even know who they are…….
i think this is an era of kpop, i like jpop songs too, however, some jpop artists that are popular in japan are actually koreans….. example: younha and BoA
korean wave already hit asia and across the globe…. believe or not, yes, japan too…….

Otherwise I’m going for jPop for it’s originality. I’m not saying kPop isn’t original. It’s only more western influenced thus the reason why it’s more popular. But that’ll end soon.
Well judging by just these videos (I have NO experience with Korean music other than this YouTube vid) the Korean videos seem sexier, more colorful, flashier, and like they have a higher budget. The Korean songs seem a little more bubbly and fun, whereas the Japanese stuff seems a lot more innocent, maybe more reserved and elegant, and I guess maybe… more mature? The Jpop songs seem more soulful, too. I’m really uninformed but, to me, Kpop seems like Jpop from maybe 10 years ago. I like both!

@MochixXxBliss Same goes for Kpop stars. Namie Amuro, Kumi Koda, YUI, Yuna Ito, Utada Hikaru, Nana Mizuki (the list goes on…) all are 101% natural. You just said that probably because you’re a die-hard Kpop fan. Seriously, do your research before you comment, because then you look like an idiot.

@sharinganWS We all are not from japan and Japanese ppl didn’t bother this and didn’t know eng much.Don’t underestimate Jpopfans.There are lots of jpop fans out there & not from japan.If you think those here saying they prefer jpop are from japan, you really don’t know anything abt jpop & you made a big mistake. ^^ All the girls you know like kpop because you are an fan.We usually like to interact with ppl who share same interest with us.I also got lots of jpop-fan penpals from not just America.
@sharinganWS Just to let you see jpop fans from worldwide. Just go and type in YouTube search Sho sakurai in NYCC, Arashi in taiwan, Arashi in Thai, Arashi in Korea, Kattun in Korea. NYCC is in America btw. There are many more like sho and nino in Europe but can’t find them anymore. And yes, there are lots of fans from other countries where they didn’t go. Since you don’t follow Jpop, you would never feel the jpop fandom out there.

Nope. Most of all asian pop stars do atleast some plastic surgery. I still love them though. I like Koda Kumi better than most k-pop idols. But I would still like her if she was all plastic.
